Libraries are beyond helpful when it comes to researching topics. When writing, there are many different sources for us to choose from. It is important to think of sources other than websites and online articles. Libraries help us navigate from popular sources to scholarly sources. We are taught that it is always important to find numerous amounts of sources because the more information the better! We college students now have to learn the correct ways to cite and publish sources. Our teachers will work with us but it is truly up to the student to make sure every source is correct when including them in our essays. Nowadays, it's much easier for students to find articles online because our whole world is online, but we sometimes do not think about the in-text articles and books. Both work well enough when writing a research paper but anything online can be copied into another source. This is why we do not use Wikipedia as a reliable source, even though that a large part of the information in those articles are true. Students need to focus on reliable sources and if that means opening up a book and finding information relatable to a topic, then so be it.
